PREVALENCE OF DENTAL ANOMALIES AND DEFORMATIONS IN CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS IN ANDIJAN REGION

Abstract

The prevalence of dentoalveolar anomalies is one of the complex and unresolved problems of modern dentistry, the effectiveness of correcting the development of the maxillofacial region depends on the timeliness of therapeutic and preventive measures. Purpose of the study. The study of the prevalence of dentoalveolar anomalies and defects in the dentition in children of the Andijan region, as well as the prevention of dentoalveolar anomalies and deformities in children and adolescents with early loss of milk and permanent teeth on the example of the Andijan region. Material and methods. The study was conducted among 812 students of schools No. 2, 3, 30, 47 of the city of Andijan, as well as the sports college of the Olympic reserves and medical colleges of Andijan and Asaki. The examined children were divided into 3 age groups in accordance with the stages of formation of the occlusion of temporary and permanent teeth according to the existing recommendations: The first age group - 6-9 years old (early changeable bite) - 283 schoolchildren, the second age group - 10-14 years old (late changeable bite) occlusion) - 276 schoolchildren, the third age group - 15-18 years (the beginning of the formation of the occlusion of permanent teeth) - 253 college students. Results. The total number of anomalies in the position of the teeth and dentitions was registered in 547 (67.36±1.64%) examined, bite anomalies in 276 (33.9 ±2.64%) examined, anomalies of individual teeth in 93 (11.3 ±1.94%), 163 (20.3 ±2.46%) of the examined children had a combination of anomalies of individual teeth, anomalies of the dentition and bite anomalies at the same time. We found that the prevalence of dentoalveolar anomalies and deformities in the examined children and adolescents is high (67.36±1.64%) and depended on age. Conclusions. Preventive measures in order to increase the motivation for a healthy lifestyle should be carried out in children in the period of preschool and younger than school age. In the prevention of dental anomalies, an important place is occupied by the harmonious development of the entire human body. This is facilitated by a properly composed regime of work and rest. Rational nutrition, hygiene measures, sports are the most important components of a healthy lifestyle.
