FEATURES OF THE COURSE OF CONGENITAL HEART DEFECT IN CHILDREN WITH COMMUNITY-ACQUIRED PNEUMONIA
Abstract
Among heart and vascular diseases, Congenital heart defects (CHD) occupy a leading position worldwide. Sometimes operations have to be postponed due to the addition of intercurrent morbidity caused by secondary infection with the development of community-acquired pneumonia. Our goal was to study the features of the course of congenital heart defects in children with community-acquired pneumonia. A total of 40 children with CHD were examined and studied, which were subsequently divided into 2 groups. Based on our studies, the established severity of clinical manifestations of CHD with community-acquired pneumonia allows us to recommend a longer and more thorough examination and treatment of patients for the purpose of prevention and rehabilitation of the condition of these patients.
